"Just checking in" is a funeral. Seven messages, and the dead lead texts first.

Sunday, 9pm. You scroll your WhatsApp and count them: 23 people who said "sounds great, let me get back to you" and never did. Your last message to half of them was "Hey! Just checking in :)" and it's sitting on two blue ticks. This file is seven messages that give the lead a reason to reply, sent one a day, with the exact response for every reply you'll get, including the no.

These are messages you copy into WhatsApp tonight, not a theory of follow-up. Two of the seven, exactly as written.

Message 1 · Day 1 · The clean slate
"Priya, no follow-up energy here, promise. I was clearing my notes and saw we spoke on the 14th about the ₹18L to ₹30L jump by April. I'm going to assume the timing wasn't right and close the file, unless you tell me otherwise by tomorrow. Either way, genuinely, good luck with the appraisal."

Why it works: It's the opposite of chasing. You're leaving. People who ignore "checking in" reply instantly to "closing the file", because nobody likes a door shutting on them, and because you quoted their own number back so they remember why they cared.

Message 4 · Day 4 · The new thing
"Priya, unrelated to us working together. A client of mine, same situation as you, ₹16L CTC, switched roles last week at ₹27L. The thing that moved it was one paragraph in her CV, not the whole rewrite. I wrote up what she changed, 5 lines. Want it? Free, no strings. Just reply 'send'."

Why it works: There's nothing to decline. It's not a pitch, it's a gift that happens to prove you can do the thing. "Send" is a one-word reply, and one-word replies are how dead conversations restart. You never asked for a call. They'll ask you.

That's 2 of 7. The other 5, the mirror, the question, the proof, the deadline and the last word, plus the reply scripts for every answer, are in the PDF below.

The Seven Wake-Up Messages: what you actually get.

1

Who to wake up

The 3-question filter that picks the 10 leads worth seven days, and the ones to leave buried.

2

The seven messages

Clean slate, mirror, question, new thing, proof, deadline, last word. One a day, word for word.

3

The send-time rules

Which hours get replies on WhatsApp in India, and the two hours that get you blocked.

4

The reply scripts

What to say when they reply "yes", "not now", "how much was it again?" or the dreaded thumbs-up emoji.

5

Three worked revivals

A ₹60K career lead, a ₹1.2L business lead and a ₹2.5L executive lead, and which message brought each one back.

6

The stop rule

Day 7 is the end. What "stopping" actually does to the 60% who didn't reply.

Be honest

Be honest. This is your WhatsApp.

→

Twenty-three chats where your last message is a question and their last message is nothing. You know the number because you counted it at 11pm.

→

"Hey! Hope you're doing well! Just checking in to see if you'd had a chance to think about it :)" You've sent that exact sentence to nine people. Zero replied.

→

Someone said "let me get back to you after Diwali." It's been two Diwalis.

→

You've typed a follow-up, deleted it, and put the phone down because you didn't want to seem desperate. You seemed absent instead.

→

A lead replied with a thumbs-up emoji and you spent 20 minutes decoding it.

None of that is a lead-quality problem. It's a follow-up problem, and follow-up is seven messages with a job each, not one message with a hope. This file is the seven.

Questions you're probably asking

Seven messages that each give something is less aggressive than one "checking in" sent monthly for a year. The aggression isn't the count, it's the ask. None of these messages asks for a call until Message 6, and every one before it gives the lead something or an exit. Most people feel relieved, not hounded. And the stop rule is real: day 7, you stop.
Then they were never a lead. They were a polite person who booked a call. You've spent seven short messages and lost nothing. And in practice, about 40% of properly dead leads reply to at least one, and most of those replies come on Message 1 or Message 4. The rest, you close, and roughly 1 in 10 comes back on their own within 90 days because you're the one who didn't beg.
No. Your Indian lead has 4,000 unread emails and lives on WhatsApp. If the original conversation was on WhatsApp, the revival is on WhatsApp. If it was on Instagram DM, use DM. Email is for receipts.
This sequence assumes a conversation happened: a call, a real DM exchange, a proposal sent. Messages 1, 2 and 6 quote back things they said. If you never spoke, you don't have those, and you're not reviving, you're prospecting. Different file.

The messages raise the dead. Something still has to bring in the living.

That's the part we build. A done-for-you engine: positioning, offer, sales video script, funnel, pre-qualification, booking, nurture and ads. Live in 14 days, then fully automated. 5 to 7 ready-to-invest calls a day. 100+ in 30 days, or you don't pay. You show up and close.
