"Refer me if you know anyone" is a hope. This is a system.

Month 6 of a ₹90,000 client. She's thrilled. You end the last session with "and if you know anyone who might benefit, do send them my way!" She says "definitely!" and you never hear of anyone. Not because she didn't mean it. Because you asked her to do the work. This file is the referral system: the 4 exact moments to ask, the word-for-word ask that gives her nothing to do, and the intro message that makes the referred person book without a single follow-up from you.

This is not "how to build relationships." It's the ask and the intro, exactly as written, so you can send them tonight.

"Before we end. That number you just showed me, going from 2 clients to 5, that's the thing I built this for. Quick question, and be honest: who's the one person in your circle who's at the '2 clients' stage right now and complaining about it? Just a first name. Don't message them, don't sell them, I don't want you doing any work. Just the name and one line about what they're stuck on. I'll write one message, send it to you, and you forward it if it feels right. That's it."

Why it works: You asked for a first name, not a favour. The client has zero work: no pitching, no explaining, no awkward "my coach said." You write the message, she forwards it. Removing the work is the entire difference between "definitely!" and an actual name.

The intro message · Written by you, forwarded by the client
"Hey Anjali, Priya here. You mentioned last month you're stuck at the 2-clients-a-month thing and chasing everyone. I was there in January. I've been working with someone since then and I'm at 5 a month now, two came in on their own. Not pushing anything, but he does a 30-minute call where he tells you honestly whether he can fix it. Here's his link, he said you'd get a slot this week if you book today: [link]. Mention I sent you."

Why it works: It's in the client's voice, not yours. It names the referred person's exact stuck point, states a before-and-after with numbers, and hands over a booking link with a reason to act today. The referred person books herself. You never chase.

That's 2 of 8 scripts. The other 6, the day-7 seed, the renewal-day ask, the "two-name" ask for graduating clients, and the thank-you that gets a second referral, are in the PDF below.

The Referral Engine: what you actually get.

1

The 4 ask moments

Day 7, day 30, renewal day, graduation. Why each one works and what you say at each.

2

The zero-work ask

The 40-second script that asks for a first name, not a favour.

3

The forwardable intro

Written by you, sent by the client, books the referred person without a follow-up.

4

The referral tracking sheet

Five columns that tell you which clients refer and when, so you ask them again.

5

The thank-you sequence

Three messages after a referral books, closes and pays. Turns one into a habit.

6

The "no names" fallback

What to say when the client says "I can't think of anyone," so you still get one.

Be honest

Be honest. You ask for referrals like you're apologising.

→

Last session with a client who got a real result. You've rehearsed asking. You end with "and, um, if anyone comes to mind..." and change the subject before she can answer.

→

A client mentions "my friend Anjali is going through the same thing." You say "oh nice!" and move on. You think about Anjali for a week. You never ask.

→

A referral finally comes: "my friend Rohan will message you." Rohan never messages. You don't have his number. You don't want to bother the client. Nothing happens.

→

You're paying ₹40,000 a month on ads while 11 happy clients sit in your WhatsApp with 11 circles of people exactly like them.

→

Diwali. Everyone's sending wishes. You realise you could have sent one referral ask to each client instead, and didn't.

None of that is a confidence problem, it's a design problem. You're asking clients to do work they don't know how to do. This file removes the work, so the only thing they give you is a first name.

Questions you're probably asking

Asking a client to sell for you is pushy. Asking for a first name and then writing the message yourself is a favour to them, because they get to help a friend without any effort. Every client in the PDF's examples says the same thing: "oh, that's easy, sure."
Not at the end. The four moments in the file are day 7 (a seed, not an ask), day 30 (the first result), renewal day (they just said yes to you again), and graduation. The day-30 ask converts best because the win is fresh and the client is still mid-journey.
They can. They just haven't been prompted. The file has the fallback: name the exact situation ("who do you know who's complaining about the same thing you were in January?"). Situations pull names. "Anyone who might benefit" pulls nothing.
For ₹50K to ₹3L offers, a fee usually makes it worse, because now it's a transaction and the client feels like a salesperson. Give a gift after, unannounced, not a fee before. The thank-you sequence in the file covers exactly what to send and when.

The engine turns clients into more clients. Something still has to bring the first one.

That's the part we build. A done-for-you engine: positioning, offer, sales video script, funnel, pre-qualification, booking, nurture and ads. Live in 14 days, then fully automated. 5 to 7 ready-to-invest calls a day. 100+ in 30 days, or you don't pay. You show up and close.
