₹500 a day isn't a budget. It's a test you can afford to fail.

You've opened Ads Manager twice, seen 40 buttons, boosted one post for ₹300 and got 11 likes from strangers in Lucknow. Now you're convinced ads are "not for coaches" or "only work with big budgets". Neither is true. This primer walks you through one campaign, one audience, one creative, ₹500 a day, and tells you exactly what a normal day 3, day 7 and day 14 look like so you stop panicking and switching things off.

This isn't "run ads and scale". It's the actual settings and the actual script. Two pieces exactly as they appear inside.

Step 4 · The one creative · First 10 seconds
"If you're a coach doing between ₹1 and ₹3 lakh a month and every single client still came from a referral or a DM you sent yourself, let me say the uncomfortable thing: you don't have a business. You have a very well-paid hobby that stops the day you stop chasing. I'm not going to sell you a course. In the next 90 seconds I'll show you the one thing that took Rahul, a business coach in Pune, from 2 calls a week to 7 in a day."

Why it works: the first line is a filter, not a hook. Wrong viewers scroll, which is exactly what you want at ₹500 a day. "I'm not going to sell you a course" kills the number one reason coaches skip coach ads. And the proof is activity, not income, so it's believable.

Step 6 · What to expect · Day 7
Spent so far: ₹3,500. Reach: 9,000 to 15,000 people. Video plays past 3 seconds: 1,500 to 3,000. Form starts: 8 to 20. Form completions: 3 to 8. Calls booked: 1 to 3. Cost per form completion: ₹450 to ₹1,200. If you're inside these ranges, change nothing. If cost per completion is above ₹2,000, the problem is the first 10 seconds of the video, not the audience.

Why it works: most coaches switch ads off on day 4 because "nothing's happening". Nothing is supposed to happen on day 4. Knowing the normal range for day 7 stops you from strangling a campaign that's doing its job.

That's 2 of 7 steps. The other 5, the campaign objective (and the one everyone picks wrongly), the audience settings, the landing form, and the day-14 decision, are in the PDF below.

The Coach's First ₹500 a Day: what you actually get.

1

Before you spend a rupee

The 3 things that must exist first (offer, form, calendar) or ads just buy you expensive DMs.

2

The campaign objective

Which one to pick, which one every coach picks by mistake, and why "boost post" is a donation to Meta.

3

The audience

Age, cities, interests and the one exclusion that saves 30% of your budget. Settings, not theory.

4

The one creative

A 90-second talking-head video, scripted word for word, with the on-screen text and the first-line filter.

5

The landing form

The 6 questions, in order, and why the budget question goes fourth, not first.

6

Day 1 to day 14

A table of normal numbers per day so you know when to hold, when to fix, and when to stop.

Be honest

Be honest. You've been scared of a button.

→

Sunday, 4pm. You open Ads Manager. Campaign, Ad Set, Ad. Forty fields. You close the tab and tell yourself you'll "hire someone eventually".

→

You boosted a reel for ₹300 once. Eleven likes, two from fake profiles. You decided ads "don't work for coaching".

→

An agency quoted ₹40,000 a month plus ad spend. You said "let me think" and thought about it for 7 months.

→

A coach you know spends ₹500 a day and posts "5 calls booked this week" every Friday. You assume she has a secret budget.

→

Day 3 of your one real attempt. ₹1,500 spent, zero calls. You paused it, "to fix the targeting". It never came back on.

None of that is an ads problem. It's an expectation problem: you don't know what normal looks like, so you quit inside the learning period. This file shows you normal.

Why we give this away

This is the manual version of one piece of the engine.

Questions you're probably asking

For a test, yes. ₹500 a day for 14 days is ₹7,000, which is less than one client's deposit. It won't fill a calendar, and it isn't meant to. It's meant to give you one number: the cost of a qualified form completion. Once you know that number is ₹800, scaling to ₹2,000 a day is arithmetic, not courage. Under ₹300 a day, Meta doesn't have enough data to learn and the test is meaningless.
Send them to your own form page. Meta's instant lead forms are pre-filled, so people submit without reading, and you get "leads" who don't remember clicking. Your own page with a 6-question form, including budget, will get fewer submissions and far better calls. Fewer, better is the entire game at high ticket.
First, check the video: are 3-second plays under 10% of reach? Then the first line is weak. Second, check the click-through: under 0.8%? The CTA is weak. Third, check form starts vs completions: lots of starts, no completions? The form is too long or asks for budget too early. The primer tells you which of these three to fix on which day. Do not touch the audience first. It's almost never the audience.
You need a video, and it needs your face. High-ticket buyers are buying you. An image ad with "Book a free call" gets cheap clicks from people who want free things. A 90-second talking-head that says "if you're not doing ₹1 lakh a month, this isn't for you" gets expensive clicks from people who are. You want the expensive ones.

₹500 a day buys attention. Something has to turn it into calls.

That's the part we build. A done-for-you engine: positioning, offer, sales video script, funnel, pre-qualification, booking, nurture and ads. Live in 14 days, then fully automated. 5 to 7 ready-to-invest calls a day. 100+ in 30 days, or you don't pay. You show up and close.
