Your calls don't die at the end. They die at minute 6.

Friday, 5:30pm. Forty minutes, great rapport, she said "this is exactly what I need", and then: "let me think about it and get back to you." She won't. This scorecard walks you back through that call with 15 yes/no questions, scores each of the five places a call gets killed, and tells you which one to fix first. Four minutes, a pen, and one honest memory of your last three calls.

This is a scorecard, not a sales philosophy. Two pieces exactly as printed.

Zone 2 · Questions 4 to 6 · The diagnosis
Q4. Did you get a specific number for where they are now (revenue, clients, hours, kilos, whatever your craft measures)? YES / NO. Q5. Did you get a specific number for where they want to be, with a date? YES / NO. Q6. Did YOU say out loud the gap between the two, in their words, and did they agree with it? YES / NO. Score: 1 point per YES. If Zone 2 is under 2, nothing you said after minute 15 mattered. You pitched a solution to a problem you never sized.

Why it works: Coaches love to diagnose. They hate to quantify. "You're feeling stuck" is not a diagnosis. "You're at ₹2.4L a month, you want ₹6L by March, and you've been at ₹2.4L for 14 months" is. Nobody pays ₹1L to fix a feeling.

Zone 5 fix · The "let me think about it" reply
"Of course. Can I ask one thing, so I don't waste your thinking time? When you say think about it, is it the money, is it whether this works for someone like you, or is it that you need to run it past someone? Because if it's the money, I'd rather tell you now whether there's a payment structure than have you decide against a number that isn't real."

Why it works: "Think about it" is three objections wearing a trench coat. This question makes them pick one, and each one has a real answer. The vague "no" becomes a specific "not yet", and specific things can be solved on the call.

That's 2 of 15 questions and 1 of 5 fixes. The full scorecard, the zone-by-zone scoring table, three worked autopsies and the other four fixes are in the PDF below.

The Close-Rate Autopsy: what you actually get.

1

The 15 questions

Five zones, three questions each. Yes or no, no partial credit, no "kind of."

2

The scoring grid

How to score, where the danger lines are, and why a 12 out of 15 with a zero in Zone 4 still loses the call.

3

Zone 1, the frame

Minutes 0 to 5. The three things that have to happen before you ask a single question, or the call is a chat.

4

Zone 3, the price

When to say the number, how to say it, and the 4-second silence that most coaches can't survive.

5

Three worked autopsies

A 6/15 call, an 11/15 call and a 14/15 call that still didn't close, with what each one should have done differently.

6

The five fixes

One script per zone, in the words to say next Tuesday.

Be honest

Be honest. This was your last call.

→

Minute 3, and you're already explaining your framework, because silence felt rude and they hadn't asked anything yet.

→

Minute 22, they say "this is so helpful" and you feel a warm glow. Warm glows don't sign contracts.

→

You say the price and immediately add "but we can be flexible on that" before they've had a chance to react.

→

"Let me think about it." You say "of course, take your time!" and send a WhatsApp follow-up at 9pm that starts with "No pressure, but."

→

Sunday night, you replay the call and can't remember a single number they told you. Because they didn't. Because you didn't ask.

None of that is a confidence problem. It's a structure problem, and structure is 15 checkboxes you can hold in your hand. This scorecard is the structure.

Why we give this away

This is the manual version of one piece of the engine.

High Ticket Engine builds done-for-you appointment engines for coaches and consultants in India. Positioning, offer, sales video script, funnel, CRM, follow-ups and ads, built in 14 days, then fully automated. Now you have the manual version of this piece.

Questions you're probably asking

Then record the next three (ask permission, everyone says yes) and score them from the recording. Or run the scorecard live: print it, keep it next to the laptop, tick as you go. Most coaches find that just having the sheet in view changes the call, because you can't skip Zone 2 when Zone 2 is staring at you.
Score three calls anyway. A 40% close rate with a Zone 4 score of 1 means you're closing on rapport and losing everyone who isn't already sold. The scorecard is not for bad closers. It's for finding the 10 points you're leaving on the table when you're already good.
Read the questions. Not one of them is a trick. They ask whether you understood the person's situation in numbers, whether you told them the truth about fit, whether you said the price clearly, and whether you asked for a decision. If that feels manipulative, the alternative is a 40-minute chat where nobody decides anything, and that wastes their time more than yours.
Then it's who's on the call, not what you say on it. A 14/15 with someone who has no budget and never watched your video is a perfect performance for an empty room. The PDF's last section covers this: the three gates before the call (watched the video, budget in writing, self-booked) that decide the close rate before you say hello.

The autopsy fixes the call. Something still has to put the right person on it.

That's the part we build. A done-for-you engine: positioning, offer, sales video script, funnel, pre-qualification, booking, nurture and ads. Live in 14 days, then fully automated. 5 to 7 ready-to-invest calls a day. 100+ in 30 days, or you don't pay. You show up and close.
